Before my bariatric surgery, I was exhausted all of the time. I couldn’t stand for long periods of time. Now I’m on the move constantly and I don’t have to stop to huff and puff. On top of being uncomfortable, I also had diabetes and high blood pressure. I had considered weight-loss surgery for years. I put it off because I couldn’t afford it. When I reached a weight that I said that I would never get to I had to make a change. Working with The Bariatric Experts Team has been great. You’re treated like a real human being, not just a number. They are very caring and helpful! My life has changed tremendously.
I am off 6 medications, I’m able to interact with my job and perform my duties, and recently went on a trip that required climbing a hill which I definitely could not do before surgery!
