I’m mind blown at how far I’ve come – 166 lbs down from my highest weight, 140 since surgery (6 lbs away from losing half of my body weight), sleep apnea resolved, A1C normal, blood pressure and heart rate much lower, and mobility massively improved so that I can once again do activities I love like running, hiking and traveling. It was a hard year though, not only because of the work of this journey, but life delivered a lot of difficulty to me in that year too. My 15 year-old nephew died suddenly from a brain aneurysm, my dog of 15 years passed away, my 45 year old brother died from cancer, and at the end of all that I was laid off from my job. One thing is sure, that year changed me forever. While a lot of life lessons came, one stands out – ask for help when you’re struggling. It just might change your entire trajectory. I’m so thankful for this tool and all the support from this team!
