I wasn’t able to be as active as I wanted to with my three kids. I hated to shop for myself because I was not happy with my appearance. My weight also kept me from pursing my dream career as a coach. I was a Type II diabetic before surgery and it took me about 6 months to decide to go through with surgery. My experience was amazing. Dr. Stowers was so helpful and encouraging to talk to about the entire process. I did most of my communication leading up the surgery virtually because I lived a pretty good distance away and the team was always so great about responding. After surgery I have looked forward to all of my follow up visits! The staff has been amazing and so supportive throughout my journey. I am so much happier and more confident. I am more active with my children and involved in all of their extracurricular activities and I no longer avoid socializing!
