Procedure: Gastric Sleeve
I had been fighting weight gain from hypothyroidism for about 12 years, losing some, gaining it back plus, losing a little bit, but never being able to get it completely off. I tried everything from special diets, weight loss (prescribed) drugs and injections, intermittent fasting and nothing worked!
I first looked into weight loss surgery 7 years ago but it was expensive and my insurance would not pay for it. My sister had gastric sleeve surgery about 5 years ago and had been so successful I decided to look into it again and reached out to her to get the name of her surgeon.
Dr. Stowers and his team were and are amazing! I felt seen and heard from the very first email to every single visit/follow-up. They treat you like family and encourage you every step of the journey!
My gastric sleeve surgery has been the best thing I’ve ever done! Fortunately for me the journey has been very smooth. I love my “new” body and how I feel! My favorite thing is to be able to cross my legs like a lady (you know…instead of like a man…lol)!
