I have always been able to work physically. But as I gained weight, my feet hurt and I would be out of breath. My blood pressure was high, my A1C was high and I had high cholesterol. I hated pictures of myself. I would park as close as I could to a store so I wouldn’t have to walk. I didn’t start gaining weight until I was in my 30s. I would work out and diet and lose down to a manageable size and then as always it came back. As I hit my 50s I would do the same, but the weight was more and it was harder to lose. At 56 I decided I needed to something or I would eventually have uncontrolled health issues.
I have yet to meet anyone at Bariatric Experts that has not been nice. Everyone I have spoken with has been very kind, caring and friendly. I am very proud of my decision. I can walk as long as I want. I fit comfortably in a seat on a plane. I am not ashamed when I have to get up in front of people at work. I can look at myself with confidence. My blood pressure and my A1C is are normal!
